How to convert a screen image in JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF or PNG?

If I order a Recovery Disk XP SP2, I can restore the operating system to a new hard drive?

Im having problems with my current HD to my current version of XP Home is installed. I have a new HD in a box. I went to Compaq site and saw they offered a recovery disk for my coputer XP Service Pack 2 for $ 15. My main thing I would do is basically burn my important files on a disk, and then throw the old cumbersome hard and get recovery CD and restore my system to the new hard drive. Will it work? Better yet, go all understand what Im trying to do? I may have a worm or something, dont know where the hard drive acting up, but i dont want to connect the new hard drive up when the old is at the same time.

What is the best computer for creative advertising (graphic design, audio, video) and essential software?

I'm in the market for a new computer, which I plan to use in creative advertising. I was wondering what others in the area are currently using in terms of hardware and software – essentially, I am interested in what is considered "top of the line" in 2007 for advertising professionals. I have virtually every piece of Adobe software from the late 90s and I am positive I will like to buy their newer versions. In terms of layout software like Quark Xpress, it is still used for advertising or InDesign has taken over? All in all, I look to spend around $ 1500 to $ 2,000 in total for the hardware and software (I also get a student discount with Apple's online store.) I realize this will not allow the purchase of a Mac Pro desktop and Adobe Creative Suite 3, but the numbers have to be downscaled other Macs that can get the job done. Would a suped-up MacBook be ideal if yes .. which one? All councils would be much appreciated. Thank you!
